Gilbert Sosa's journey began upon moving to Los Angeles in the summer of 2016, one week after graduating high school. That summer, he joined the founding team of the first-ever social media label "Team 10", as the founding Social Media Producer. He resigned from that role in December 2016 to take on a position at Wayfarer Entertainment as a Social Media Manager.
Months later, he teamed up with Mexican actor-influencer Juanpa Zurita, whom he began to create social media content for exclusively. After traveling throughout Latin America, capturing content with Zurita, Sosa made the bold decision to move to Mexico City. In Mexico, Sosa co-founded "DosogasTeam," the first-ever Latin-American social media influencer incubator. Due to the popularity of this project, Sosa's social media following skyrocketed from 120k followers on Instagram to millions combined through all his social media.
Since 2018, Sosa is focused on establishing himself as a film director, aside from maintaining his social media entity. In 2019, he directed his first budgeted short films, teen-comedy "First Timers" and Spanish-language thriller "Bloody Christmas." Both were published on Youtube and were received widely with over 3 million viewers combined. Gilbert Sosa hopes to continue growing as a film director and all-around storyteller throughout the years to come.
